Okay y'all I love giving props to celebs who do the darn thing on the red carpet, but sometimes it's necessary to call people out. So today, we have the worst of the week. I have no problem with the color, though those lime green boots are highly suspect. I just hate the fact that Keyshia cole never really looks put together. I can't imagine that this could be the work of a stylist, and I believe that's the problem. To be quite honest, Keyshia Cole's personal style isn't sophisticated enough for my tastes., and by sophisticated I don't mean double-knits and pencil skirts. I mean that she hasn't yet grasped the basics of good style.
Now onto the inimitable Janice Combs. There's something to be said for aging gracefully, and unfortunately Janice Combs did not get the memo. Everything about this outfit is wrong. From the skin-tight body suit to the fur jacket and hat. It's all just too much. I just understand how you could ever think that this is a good look.
I would have much preferred to see Keyshia in something like this:

I love her style. Young, funky and fresh, so she and Kanye are a match made in fashion heaven. But for someone who claims to be a designer she sure knows how to never rock her own threads. I'm jus sayin...
